Cheapest will be montoncycling or someone similar, who are in china and do unofficial replica stuff, or fake if you will.

If you want legit stuff and you're after a specific teams kit then price will vary by maufacturer, but a google search will probably give you the best prices. Depends what you're after really.

Don't. It's just naff. You will realise it, as I did, about a year after taking up cycling.

Get some good quality kit. The DHB and Endura stuff is good, Mavic kit it nice too. If you want the "team" look join a club and wear that kit or wear your local shop's kit if they have one.

As everyone says, CHINA. Personally, I wouldn't buy it, but if you fancy bankrupting some legit companies and help put your LBS out of business, then the link below will help!
Oh, and the gear will be crap too, but look ok from a distance.

Rapha makes their stuff in China as does Apple. There's nothing wrong with Chinese made goods necessarily but to a certain extent you get what you pay for. I would always be inclined to stay away from very cheap (almost always poor quality and value) or very expensive (you're paying for their pretentious marketing and it's also poor value).

Has nothing to do with the likes of Apple making gear in China. I'm sure there are lots of quality goods made in China.

It is more to do with companies taking the patterns of Rapha/Santini gear and then making their own cheap versions of the same. Would you like to buy knock off pharmaceuticals? They are quite cheap I'm told ;)

I know wearing knock off gear will not kill you or put your health at risk, but I'm not one to support the trade. Each to their own though!
  • I see. Well thanks for the response all. I just find it difficult to get the size and the cash mostly the cash.

Prendas give good advice over the phone so long as you are honest with the measurements they ask you for!

They make some of their stuff in China, Turkey, Italy and the UK.

How do you know it will be crap, the kit i got is very good qaulity and lets be honest, lycra is lycra and the chinese have been working with materials while we were still in animal skins in this country.
Ok if you dont want it for personal reasons, thats fine but saying its crap is a tad silly, and if it lasts a year,at the price its still a bargain.

Why not just buy some of the new sky Rapha gear. It's around £40 for the cheapest version of the top
