Has anyone done this or from the area and know what the climbs are like?
I have just entered it, the long route is 160km and 3600m of climbing and the route profile shows about 25 seperate climbs! http://www.southhamshammer.co.uk/

I'm guessing short and steep with so many of them but its difficult to tell from the compressed route profile image.

I did the Marmotte OK but I know that 4 long alpine climbs is a different beast to 25 steep ones!
Perhaps more along the lines of the Fred Whitton, which it would probably be great strength training for, coming a month before it in April.
