How to dismantle a cateye?

Hi
I couldn't see a general bits & bobs forum so I'd thought I'd try here.
I've got a Cateye HL-EL135 http://www.cateye.com/uk/products/detail/HL-EL135/
It's not waterproof & I've been playing in the mud with it, which has crept into the lens & so it's about 50% as bright as it should be. ( I understand how it leaked in but how it splattered across the lens front is beyond me)
Anybody know how to remove the lens/LED section so I can clean it, without breaking it, obviously? I've tried looking for a clip that fastened it but with no luck.
I know I should probably dump it & buy a new waterproof one, but I try to be as green as possible & don't like throwing things away that aren't completely broken.
