Hi i was looking at this bike and was wondering what peoples opinions were this would be my first road bike.
Merida race 904 alu frame cheers for any help

Well the Merida is Aluminium frame with carbon forks (which I suspect have metal steerer). The Bianchi is Carbon frame and full carbon forks.

So you need to decide what you prefer. They both would do you fine and both have mainly 105 kit so similar in that respect.
