Do any of the sages out there know the smallest rear cassette ratio I can use with a small rear mech. I am currently
using a 12/25 with a compact. All 10 speed Record.
There are 13/27's out there but i'm not sure if my cage will take that ratio. I will have to get a medium cage if I want
12/28 or 13/29. Any advice would be very useful.

I've run a 13-29 with a Record short cage on a compact. It works fine but would avoid chain crossing. I also use a 12-25 on the same setup. 13-27 should be even easier. Campag seem to be pretty conservative with their tolerances.
