Yep - never seen any LG MTB shoes so no idea what they re like but they ll be fine

Getting some spikes is a good idea too for CX

  • Those should do the job nicely. If the bike shoes from LG are anything like the motorbike apparel, then those will be top notch!

They'd be fine for both general riding and CX - my only concern and this is a general observation of many MTB shoes is that cutting-away sections of the tread either side of the cleat can help mud to clear more effectively. Most MTB shoes designers obviously live in sunny climes and never ride in the conditions where soft mud, grass, leaves and twigs packs under the sole around the cleat and means you can't clip-in after a dismount. Also look at Mavic shoes as they have broad rubber treads.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
