Built up with some bits from the classifieds section!
The frame is an early 2000s Principia, bought from Ascurrel. Lovely finish on it and subtly aero.
It's been built up on a budget, with bits found in the shed, but it's actually turned out really well. One day I'll be able to afford some proper aero wheels for it, but for now I'll have to make do with my Fulcrums from my other bike.
Saddle's a stand-in until I pick up something a bit more TT friendly!

Apologies for the terrible photo quality:

  • Can't go wrong for a budget! Has an old-skool ring about the whole thing too.
What have you got in mind for changes & upgrades?

Well on my first ride, 5 miles in the left crank arm came loose, so a new crankset is in order! I'm also getting a proper TT saddle from the classifieds section and one day hope to afford some deep rims, but that's a long way off ;)

Not bad at all for a budget bike, my mate pete has got his "mainly free" TT bike and managed to pick up a rear disk for £50 (God knows how!) so there must be some bargain wheels out there

Are you sure that was by entirely legal methods?!?
I once saw Spinergy 4 spoke carbon wheel on a fixie locked up by my local supermarket- almost stole it on the basis that I could give it a better life...

Haha, I think it was a mate that was getting rid of it but yeah that is cheap!

Hi Sam, she's looking good. Let you have the frameset too cheap I think lol. Glad it'd gone to a good home, I've still got the Selle Italia TT saddle if interested. Nice job Principia frames really are great. Cheers,

Aye I think you may have done, although if the fork ever goes I think I'll have trouble finding a replacement...
I picked up a cheap TT saddle from the Classifieds, so that'll do me for the time being, thanks for the offer though!
