Not BMC
Any guesses?
His current boss says not, but if he does go, I'm thinking Movistar. Despite Piti's display at the Vuelta, I wouldn't consider him a GT contender anywhere else. Plus the Spanish connection and that they only have 25 riders.0 -
What team needs him ? He might be going cheap given the circumstances.
I'll go for.....Cannondale. Based on the fact that Basso is over the hill and still can't descend.0 -
Vacansoleil?
Cant think they have too many 3 week GC contenders other that Thomas De G."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."
PX Kaffenback 2 = Work Horse
B-Twin Alur 700 = Sundays and Hills0 -
Cant see how Vacansoleil could support him in a serious assault on the Tour...also dont know how they're fixed, chequebook wise? Enough sunny holidays being flogged?0
-
Cannondale“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0
-
It's Euskadi.0
-
Giant coughs up the money -- JRod is the bait to get a sponsor.
He rides for Blanco.
Gesnik is just one big crash anyway.0 -
Most of the News Wires guess at Argos Shimano0
-
I'd put him at argos. or cannondale.0
-
Not sure how would Argos be able to support a serious assault on Tour GC?0

They would give him more support than Katusha.0 -
Argos denied when those rumours started last weekFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

That settles that then
But seriously cannot see him being Argos-bound0 -

If Rodriguez ended up at Argos that would be the end of his career.0 -

I would have thought many teams would struggle to re-arrange their race programmes/objectives this late into winter?
Does anyone know how long in advance teams and training plans are organised for racers/entries?0 -

(Scouse accent): "Err, Dave, look 'ere, you know that I never REALLY wanted to leave..."0

Good read, thanks for posting this. But, is Cadel really still a Tour (win) contender? His team looked like it could do with some help to help him in my eyes last at last years tour. I wonder if Purito plus pals would take the team into a new phase of life?0 -

Cuddles took his chance in '11 and well done him. But nooo...think that's him done. TJ stands more chance this year than him. Thought BMC ruled themselves out of the marketplace this week? Also Purito is 33 - only 22 years younger than Cuddles. It wouldnt exactly be investing for the future...0 -
