Took the train from work in Aberdeen on New Years eve to Golspie, changing over at Inverness...
4 and 1/2 hours on the trains and I spent New Years eve in the Ben Bhraggie Hotel bar in a town i've never been to before, getting ready for 2 days of riding the http://www.highlandwildcat.com trails for the first time...
It was the best start to a new year that i've ever had!

I'm rather lucky living half an hour away from there. I've only been once though - it was on my hardtail with a seriously damaged rear hub, useless brakes and a cheap fork that didn't actually do anything. It was still tons of fun though!
