Hi just joined this forum and thought I would introduce my self.
I'm Mike age 50, just started cycling and riding around 7 - 8k per day.
I have a below right knee amputation but does not stop me cycling. I also dance ballroom and latin and gave up smoking december 16th 2012.
I live in westgate on sea kent uk.

Hi Mike,
Bit of a Blogger myself though on the other end of the country. Good luck - you'll find you rack up the milage pretty easily even though you're only doing a few miles just now. I've added you to my reading list.

Welcome to the forum! I reckon the miles will rack up in no time! I also quit smoking recently, I'm on the e-fags at the moment! Really noticed it on the bike after a few weeks, not huffing & puffing up hills as bad as I was - don't get me wrong, it's still hard work, but my chest isn't sore for a day afterwards!
