    Why not have one of each, if it doesn't make a difference?

    That is quite a good price, but the rings are soft, the BBs not brilliant, they scuff if you look at them and they're barely lighter than the far cheaper XT...

    I wouldn't buy X0 cranks. I have two sets of cranks with GXP bottom brackets and they are rubbish. Replacement BB's are expensive as well and heavier than Shimano. I have also seen a set of X0 carbon cranks snap, made a nasty mess of the rider's leg.
    Shimano cranks are far better.

    Agreed, i hated my sram crankset and i now have an SLX one and not only do the rings not bend when you shift but they're so much stiffer and the BB is far better sealed.

    I'd never use sram chainsets again.
