Went down to mabie today with a couple of mates. 1st proper outing with my new Arch EX rims and Dirty Dans.

I have only ridden about 80 miles locally with them, which isn't exactly rough terrain. Couldnt believe it when I noticed a 2 inch tear in the side wall :( . I run them at 30psi with tubes (no tubes kit ordered).

Does this sound like a flaw in the tyre? It looks more torn than cut on a rock or something and its not rocky round here. Thorns are more the problem.

Cheers

did you check the recomended presures on them and i dont think it should mater if you run tubes or tubless side wall must be thin if it was a thorn that done it and have you had the problem with any other tires you have used

Looks like a rock has torn it to me, despite your thinking otherwise.
