strava segment not recording

I have a segment on a local hill, however last two times ridden it, never recorded when I uploaded to strava ?

Could be a GPS error. If that's the case, create a ticket for the Strava support team and they will try to force a match

You can hide segments? Sounds like Strava may be useful again

Have changed your privacy settings in Strava?

I have just checked the segment and I was 2nd to you, but now my rides aren't showing on that segment at all, but got to be because I changed my privacy settings!

yes I noticed yours had gone and someone has matched my KOM ! Think need to look into the settings as you say and others above, pretty sure I improved but it didn't show.

Strava can be so weird sometimes. I set up a segment from my ride and it doesn't show my ride on the segment I created with my ride...

I had that issue with a segment close to me. What i did was give a postcode of a neighbour down the road. privacy zone now covers my house but not start of segment. May well be easier way however!
