Adding a comment to a review - why 'type these words'

I've logged in, I can post messages but I can't add a one line comment to a news item / review without also typing in the two screwed up words. Why? Does bikeradar not like people posting comments on news items?

    It prevents spam-bots from posting as only humans are able to type in the captcha.

    Bikeradar uses Re-captcha which displays text from old books that are being digitized.. so your effort to type two extra words isn't wasted.
