so im new to mountain biking and purchased this and was just wandering what components any one could recommend.

I would recommend the components already attached to the bike....get it dirty!!

As above, get out on it.

If you don't like how something works think about replacing it, if something stops working definitely replace it.

Then if a component breaks, replace it.

nah as above just smash it a bit, as things break upgrade you will know what you want by then as everyone is different.
