Just moved to Manc.. ride this weekend?

I've just this week moved to Manchester from London.. bit of a change of scenery!
Don't know the area / routes / people etc, so if anyone's going for a decent ride (or knows if the UoM lot are heading out) and wouldn't mind an extra person please let me know! (something 18mph+/flattish preferably)
Keen to meet some fellow riders up here.. I'm in Didsbury area but can ride out to meet.
