EDGE 800 Help

Hi i got an Garmin Edge 800 from the big man in red !!!

I have downloaded a route from bikley uploaded to bikeroutetoaster.com. Edited it on BRT uploaded it to the GPS. i have edited a big route which was 20 miles, down to 12 miles but on the garmin course screen is says 14 miles. Is the course menu displaying the millage to the start of the course or the total course.....

Pretty sure the distance shown when you look at the list of routes is how far away you are from the start of the route.

Obviously if you're indoors then the gps location might be miles out so you might get a different number to what you expect.

Yep will be displaying the distance to the start of the route
