2013 Radon's

Evening all, medium-time lurker, first-time poster.
Much deliberation has been had on a bike in the sub-800 bracket recently. Last year everyone seemed to think the ZR Team 7.0 topped the bill comfortably but unfortunately I didn't have the moola to pull the trigger before they all went.
The 2013 models seem to have a noticeable downgrade in terms of components (and price tbf) so I was wondering if folks felt they still represented a similar sort of value for money as the 2012s?

If not I was thikning about a cube instead? http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/produ ... _2012_Bike
my riding will be a lot of trails and a little bit of xc, with folks who are a lot better than me (Friends from my climbing club who taught me to ride a bike for th first time in April 2012 at the age of 25 - sheltered life!) so I wanted something that is above my skill level at the minute but under the assumption that I will progress pretty rapidly. Semi-rapidly. At a fair pace....try to get my crashes round cannock into single figures
cheers all

Reba on both, decent drivetrain, I personally would prefer the brakes on the Cube as I don't get on with Avids, but they both look decent enough.0

Yes I noticed that Radon had downgraded all their models slightly, still great value but seem last years team 7 is now the Race 7 and is £200 more than I paid for my team 7 in September. I can't recommend Bike Discount highly enough though so don't hesitate to take the plunge.0
