Team Sky Supporter Jersey £40.00
To see the full range just put Sky into the seach section of the Ralph website.

Not bad at all. Like the look of the polo short for 30 quid too.FCN 3 / 40 -
Seems to have broken their site!- Genesis Croix de Fer

I am going to take personal credit for crashing the Ralpha site. Whats the prize?0

It's working again

I can't work out the supporters jersey. It says it's for wearing with casual clothes, stood at the side of the road. So not for cycling? Also it's made of polycotton not sportwool or the stuff the pro jerseys are made of
edit: Actual cycling one seems to be £75. Still not too bad I guess compared to normal

The pricing is pretty reasonable for Rapha."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."
PX Kaffenback 2 = Work Horse
B-Twin Alur 700 = Sundays and Hills0 -
Simon Mottram in the FT:
"One likely solution is a move to soften the branding, perhaps playing down the arm stripe that has become Rapha’s trademark. “It’s very visible but perhaps too visible – you can see them coming a mile off. When Rapha gets to a certain size, like it is in London, you don’t necessarily want something that strong.”"
New Team Sky kit:
Well that went well then. :P
For clarification, despite my disdain for all things Sky (the company, not the team), in the context of pro team kits, this is extremely tasteful.0 -
Well - it really is a balance of getting the Sky name out there with making money. Make it too "exclusive" and it would be rare. This is also Rapha's opportunity to get their name out into the provinces...ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0
-
absolutely love the kit, think its brilliant.
wont buy it mind. but i do really like itBMC TM01 - FCN 0
Look 695 (Geared) - FCN 1
Bowman Palace:R - FCN 1
Cannondale CAAD 9 - FCN 2
Premier (CX) - FCN 6
Premier (fixed/SS) - FCN30 -
I preferred it when they had a narrow stripe down the back, rather than the wide one they've had latterly.0
-
If they are going to supply the "best world tour team" then invest in a better website host... Jeez.
Interested to know what the quality will be like of the replica kit. Probably similar to the Paris-Roubaix challenge jerseys.
This surely opens the door for a new desirable brand that costs a fortune but isn't so "mainstream"? Maybe Assos will start doing some jerseys that don't make you look like a power ranger.
Edit: I bet there is a few factories in China feeling a bit glum ..0 -

Perhaps they could be called something like foxlike.0 -
I just ordered the winter hat. I was awaiting the re-stock of the plain version, but I prefer the SKY one!Ben

Too late.. Someone PM'd before you.0 -
Its a bit boring. Classy, understated etc etc. Yawn. Not convinced pro team kit should be like that, I want to see sponsors everywhere (preferably unknown Euro-brands) and garish colours / designs!
Still, its nicely inoffensive which is a good job as they are likely to be everywhere by summer.0 -
The "pro" jersey, that they might actually wear at team sky is £ 140. I imagine the £75 replica is like a rapha club jersey with sky livery.
Looking at it like that it is pretty punchy.0 -

Yes but lets be honest most of the people who buy this kit are not going to be the right shape for a race cut jersey. The cheaper cuts look much more 'fat banker in richmond park' friendly in shape.
Lets all hope that they see sense and dont try and squeeze the bellies into the overly tight race cut and opt for the cheaper items.0 -
It is pretty, but don't really want to be a walking advert for Murdoch at all times..0

You should have availed yourself of the Planet X £10 deals last summer
(these were the more tasteful ones!)
