HELP WITH SHORTS PLEASE.

Hi,
i am looking for a pair of casual shorts that either have a fixed pad or removable one. About knee length and not to baggy. I am not sure that i want to go back to lycra shorts again, after years on my Dawes Galaxy. I am planning ahead for when i get my Rourke Audax in May. They will be worn with a classic style jersey, i.e. Campagnolo type. The ones i have seen in Evans Manchester ,are quite heavy and have to many zips and pockets. Price is not an issue for the right pair. Any advice much appreciated, cheers.
