Gore Fusion Cross real life review?

Has anyone got any real life experience on the Gore Fusion Cross jacket? Looking at buying myself a new jacket and this seems to be well regarded by the WMB reviewers but then real life its sometimes a different tail.

Also any alternatives worth looking at?

You can't go far wrong with nearly anything from Gore, except their lycra and baselayers, Endura is cheaper and better in that respect for that
