Hi
I know this has been done before but its a subject very time critical as to who to use.

I have got to post some wheels (In the UK) most people on ebay seem to put £10 postage. Every site im using say delivery from £4. I put in the dimensions of a wheel box and getting quotes of a £100? WTF?
Anyone recommend me some couriers etc that will deliver a set of wheels for less than the cost of the bloody wheels!
any help appreciated as they have sold and i need to get them off asap!

many thanks

Are they getting delivered to Mallorca? That could be why the shipping prices are so different!

Ive had good experience from a company called Hermes, we paid 25 euros per 30kg box which were quite karge from Austria to The UK when we moved here.

  • Hi

Just shipped some wheels- Hermes website stated the wheel box was to big so used P4D, was about £14 for signed delivery. Hope this helps.

A lot of people use services such as parcelmonkey/interparcel to get cheap courier prices. The only real concern is you're likely not covered for insurance if anything goes wrong during the transportation (read the T&C's for exclusions). Otherwise ParcelForce/TNT generally offer the most competitive insured prices but they're still considerably more than the cheaper alternatives.

have you tried DB Schenker - they have been really good for me, and with their tracking system you can actually speak to a person!!

I will never use Parcel2go again after a bad experience with them, and their claims system is painful at best
