I built this up from an old bike, so it's a new frameset with some older kit on it, so there is further work to be done. Sorry about the picture quality, lacking the wonders of daylight!

Frame: Trek Madone 7 Series, 58cm H2 fit
Bars: 3T Ergonova Team
Stem: Bontrager Race XXX lite

Brake / Shifters: Campag Chorus Ultrashift
Brakes: Bontrager Speed Limit Integrated Brakes

Cables: Campag
Front Mech: Campag Record
Rear Mech: Campag Record

Seat: Selle Italia SLR Team Edition

Cranks: Campag Super Record (compact)
Chain: Campag Record 11s
Cassette: Campag Chorus
Pedals: Look Keo 2 Max Carbon
Bottom Bracket: BB90

Wheels: Mavic Kysyrium SL Premium
Tyre: Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp

Accessories: Garmin Edge 500, Bontrager RL Cages

Weight: Sub 7kg

The question is what next? I'm waiting for the new Bontrager Race XXX Lite Aero 31.8mm Carbon Road Handlebars with internal cable routing, Super Record EPS upgrade? or some Carbon Clinchers?

Looks interesteding, but you need to squat down onto your haunches to get a better picture.

Try one more from the side rather than from on top.

Good luck with it - in the mean time, put it on your trainer...

Finally got around to taking some new photos.

I've upgraded the wheels to Gigantex 50mm rims with Chris King R45 hubs and Bontrager XXX Aero Bars.

As most bikes do, it looks fantastic with the deep carbons on.

What did you think of the Mavics? I am toying with buying some at the moment.

I've had the mavics about 4 years, they've been great, I've kept them for my winter bike / as a spare. They've been trued once - the guy in the bike shop only charged me a fiver as he said he hardly had to do anything. Bearings are great - used them year round. They're pretty solid! I must say those new mavics in matt black look great!

Very good looking machine, nice to see a Trek with Campagnolo on it. How are the bars when climbing on the tops, they seem very wide?

I climb on the hoods. I like them, if you spend a lot of time on the tops they're a bit weird to hold on to. Fine if you're just resting on them for a change of position. The internal cable routing was a faff, but nice and tidy!

No, that would wash off in the rain.

Looks cool on the new rims. You won't regret the handlebar's. Mine are wicked comfortable, although I have them much, much narrower at 38cm.

Hah! Tell me about it. Thought someone would have commented earlier. I've been giving the bikes too much attention!

Is the massive headtube a result of the H2 geometry?

I don't know you'll have to read the trek website. I'm sure they'll claim it's some aero advantage!
