Fitting Road bike to Elite Volare turbo trainer

Hi Folks,
I recently purchased a Prorace Deamon Titan 105 ( not one of the better known makes I realise but I am delighted with the bike, especially at the super value Wiggles sale price) however I cannot fit it to my elite Volare Elastogel Turbo trainer without scratching and potentially seriously damaging the bike frame. The clearance space between the wheel skewer head and the frame is so tight that the skewer grip on the turbo trainer is cutting into the bike frame when tightened. I would be very grateful for any suggested solutions please. Cheers

Any photos ? I can't see what the issue is here - are you using the QR spindle they provide ?0

What Cougie said. If you're using the specific QR skewer that should have come with the turbo, the bike should fit the urbo like a proverbial glove.0

Thanks a million for the prompt replies I am using the dedicated Elite Skewer this is my first posting please bear with me and I will try to upload photos asap. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination but I personally think the issue is the frame type i.e. the rounded part of the rear stays seems to go futher back than on most bikes almost rignt back to the wheel hole, sorry not very descriptive or technical, photos the only solution me thinks !!0
