SRAM 2010 Technical Manual

I am just about to try some work on my X9 Rear Hub as its not engaging and I think the pawls are not releasing as they should.

I have found this technical Manual and thought I would share it here in case anybody else needs advice etc....

  • Ok, i have tried to get in at the hub mechanism and failed, this manual does not cover the follwing hub setup.

    Sram X9 V2 Disc IT with 12mm RWS 12 x 142mm

    Off to the bikeshop tomorrow to have lots of work done on my bike, I feel it will be expensive :(

    Why not just try a process of elimination, most hubs aren't that hard!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

  • I physically could not get a tool to open the hub, think it needs a specialist tool.. :(

    So bike shop have fixed (for free) as well as fixing my Twinloc & bent shifter lever, I pick up tomorrow..... :) as well as test ride either a Scale 29er or a Genius 27er :)
