Rounded bolt

Hi,
I managed to round the pad retaining allen bolt on Auriga comp brakes. The position it is in makes it impossible to use hacksaw or molegrips. I tried with bigger allen key, tried to glue key to it with some steel epoxy but I think it is alloy so didn't hold. Any ideas how to get it out? It seems to be pretty stuck as there is thread lock on it.

Hammer an appropriately sized torx into it (one that you're prepared to sacrifice).0

I can hammer in a torx key but the pin head is so soft that key simply scrapes more metal from inside while turning. I don't want to damage it completely as then I will have only pin inside the calliper.0

Unbolt the caliper and then try - you'll be able to get better access to the bolt.I don't do smileys.

+1, worked for me on that exact same bolt. It really is made of cheese :x0 -

I will try to remove calliper completely and hammer in torx again. I was trying to cut the slot for screwdriver but there is no access:

A Dremel works wonders were there is no saw access.....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
