fuel ex7 or reign 2

ok im buying 2 new bikes, ive already decided on the rockhopper pro 29 for my hardtail but im torn between the fuel and the reign for my F/S, they both cost the same within a 100 or so and from what i read they weigh close as well. Im one who points for the ruff stuff when riding but one prob is that im around 5'4/5'5 and 145 so not sure if i really need the 6" reign? (biggest drops in my area are no more than 4')
