Would you not have been better asking this before you bought it?0

It should be quieter, I don't think you could class it as quiet though.0

Yup, can't miss it, it comes past my living room window
Doesn't half get in the way of any proper cycling though.0 -
Do u like watching it then or not really I got couple tt DVDs there crazy brave haha that must be some amazing cycling over there though?? What lovely place to live0

Oh I love watching it, have done ever since I was a kid. I'm pretty lucky that my employer sponsors some of the racing and one of the riders, so I get all sorts of little perks like paddock passes and tickets to the VIP suite .
I'd say the cycling over here is better than average. The terrain lends itself very well to road cycling, and we're pretty rural for the most part too so have some great scenery. We've got loads of short, sharp climbs, a few pretty decent cat 2 climbs, and a big section in the north of the island that's nice and flat if you're into that sort of thing. The only downside is that the entire road maintenance budget each year gets spunked on 37mi of TT course while the rest of the roads disintegrate.
Of course, I'm pretty biased, but I'd say the number of pros we've turned out speaks volumes, especially considering the population of the entire Island is about that of a small UK town.0 -
Yeah I think u could well be right and I imagine like u say the budget gets blown just on the tt course think ya self lucky you got such brilliant riding conditions u lucky chap with paddock passes and stuff fair play to u mate0
