Hey everyone, I usually only post in the mtb section, and only a few posts in road bit so please be gentle!
I currently have a giant defy 3 2010 http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bik ... /#features which is standard at the minute. I've read that the wheels are pretty heavy and thus make climbing etc harder than needs be! (correct me if I'm wrong though!)
Anyway I was browsing superstar and came across their new road wheels, firstly has anyone got a set yet? And second would either of these sets below be an improvement over whats currently on my bike?
these
http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=409
or these:
http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=685
Thanks in advance!

When you say they are a real upgrade how do you mean? I don't doubt they are but being new to upgrading the roadie I would be interested to know!0 -

Lighter rims, better hubs, better built, more durable, every part can be replaced easily... They are just betterleft the forum March 20230 -

They wanted to get rid of the rims, hence they built them up. No catches... Just a good deal... Few sets left... The excursion ones are even cheaper and perfect as winter training wheelsleft the forum March 20230 -
