Hi guys
Seen these over at bike-discount and wondered if they are any good?

I know people worry about the sidewalls being thin and i know the newer foldable ones are pretty light but not sure on these, they say they are 2012 edition and non foldable.
Mainly be using them for xc and trails, cannock, llandegla etc.
Cheers

Cheap and for good reason, the tread pattern is reasonable, but the cheap compound is absolutely lethal in the wet, and given the horrible, slatey, pebble surface at cannock I'd give them a miss.
Personally I run these Nobby Nics in Gatestar compound - http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k371/a ... ml?mfid=78
I find they roll very well, and unlike previous Nic's which could be skittish in the wet, these are incredibly grippy due to the soft compound and I rate them very, very highly, bit more expensive, but a steal at that price, incredibly tempted to get another pair for my second bike!0 -
