Comparing bike sizes

Hi,
Looking for some confirmation on sizing a Canyon Ultimate Al (seem to be right between a Small & Medium).
My current bike is a Boardman CX (53), which has measurements of:
ST: 530
TT: 555
SA: 73
Stem :90
The Med Canyon has:
ST: 54.5
TT: 54.9
SA: 73.5
Stem: 100
I have easily enough seat tube showing on the boardman to account for the 15 mm increase in seat tube length on the Canyon, so am I correct in thinking that the other measurements make the reach on the 2 bikes roughly the same (ie sightly shorter TT & bigger SA on the Canyon are compensated for by the larger stem)?
