I love castelli, but aside from the jerseys they call jackets cant work out if when buying this Leggero jacket - for those caught out in a shower moments

I should perhaps have bought the Pocket liner

or Sottile

or squadra
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-squadr ... of-jacket/
can someone explain the differences?

I got the leggereo jacket for Christmas and its pretty good. It works as a wind stopper and waterproof.
I was impressed how waterproof it was in heavy rain and it packs up very small. PBk have some very good deals on them.0 -
i'd go for the leggero, it's extremely breathable and waterproof enough for showers/light rain
the sottile isn't as breathable, if you are riding hard sweat will eventualy soak you from the inside, so best reserved for slow days or when it's really cold+wet
the sottile is waterproof, the leggero is windproof, both are superlight, race cut so no flapping, and pack very small (you could get 3 or 4 in a jersey pocket), i've got both, the only gripe i have is the back of the sottile could do with being longer
the squadra is like a heavier sottile, it is not as stretchy as the sottile, so the cut is a bit looser and it has a longer back, doesn't pack as small
imho the pocket liner is more of a full-on rain jacket, heavier than the sottile, the back extends lower, supposed to be very breathable, also very pricey, haven't got onemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
