Just looking for advice.

I ordered the above from Wiggle. Item arrived really quickly, but I ordered Large and they have sent XL. I straight away thought it will be hanging off me. After checking the sizing charts - XL is for someone 6'3" and a 41" waist. I'm 5'11" with a 35 inch waist.

But after trying them on they don't feel too big. I know some folks say the sizing is a bit odd, but should I return them and get the large? Or if they feel ok should I just keep them? Will they 'shrink' in the wash? The difficulty is that the large may feel better or they may be tight!

is it tight enough in places without gaps or loose to ride up etc.?

  • As Wiggle do free returns via Collect+ I would hang on to the XL and order a L as well and then just return the pair you don't want.

The only problem with this is I had a £5 off voucher - if I buy another new pair then return these ones then I will lose my £5 off voucher. Is that correct?

I think if anything bib tights tend to stretch over time due to wear and washing. If they are a little on the big size now then they may only get bigger. Am waiting for a pair of the same at the moment (I'm 6'1 and 34" waist - went for large). The other option of course is to gain weight :)

Hmmm - that is a good point. I think I will send them back.

I'm about the same size as you. I have the L which fit me fine (nice close fit but ok for length. The thing is, they are stretchy so you might well get away with XL but they will just be a bit looser than they should be. I would change them.

Thanks for your advice chaps. I'm just back from dropping them off to be sent back. Pity as I was hoping for them for a New Year day ride!!
