I had my 1996 GT Zaskar stolen from my shed in the early morning of December 3rd, 2012, Aqueduct area of Telford, close to Brookside for those who know the area, I found my Ortlieb barbag (£65 from Wiggle) which they had thrown away so the little toerags haven't got a clue.
Spec....27 speed Shimano XT rapidfire shifters, XT brake levers, XT shadow rear mec, XT front mech, red Hope hubs on Mavic (x317 I think) hoops, Schwalbe Marathon plus tyres, blue Use seatpost, Brooks special B17 saddle with copper rivets, blue handlebars, Ergon gc2 grips, Ritchey adjustable stem with a quill stem converter, Bomber Marathon suspension forks, Blue crankset(can't remember the make), blue Hope grip doctors, blue Hope skewers, red large platform Shimano spd pedals.
Same as below except I had taken off the carriers for its' winter service and put on the Bomber forks
As you can tell with its' highly polished frame its going to stick out like a sore thumb if its being ridden by the sort of lowlife I imagine has stolen it. Reward of £100 for recovery.
Regards and Happy new year, Alan.
