Actually I broke up with my other half around 3 weeks ago, my plans for seeing family have been cancelled so I'm on my own this year! Ha! Too wet to ride, so gonna stay in, do some stuff for Youtube then do some chores around the house; normal day for me tbh.

I stayed over at my parents, but since I've got the Garmin for xmas, I wanted to get it on the bike and test it out as this seems to be the only day where it won't be lashing down for nearly anither week. So, Dad dropped me off and I rode 4 miles back in the rain just to get the bike here

Got wasted last night so too hung over to brave the wind and rain. Youngest got a set of drums for Christmas bought off eBay for 30 quid. Not what I wanted to here this morning.

Ohh my gooood - are you mental (or do you have a very very big house with a sound proof room at one end and/or a hearing problem [in this case for problem you may read salvation] ??)

I have two young ones in the house and they would get drums over my very very dead body! Last year in-laws gave them toy trumpet and sax and that was bad enough. Missus went through a phase of talking about us getting a piano but soon squashed that f-ing mad idea. That said the ultimate (for me) horror is listening to children learning to play a recorder - god awful instrument!

    PS - Merry my arse!
