Does anyone who's 5'6" own a Canyon Nerve CF or AL 29?

I recently ordered a Lapierre XR 529 in size small but the standover height is too high for me. The only 29ers I've tried where the standover height is fine are the Specialized Epics and Cambers.
Would be interested to hear from anyone of similar height who's sat on a Canyon Nerve CF (26" wheels) or the AL 29 to see how it compares - obviously can't try these on anywhere.
Alternatively, does anyone know how the standover height on a Scott Spark compares to the Specialized's? I've compared 'geometry' manufacturer stats but I think the basis is not consistent so doesn't really help....

Is stand over a massive concern, are the bikes ok in every other sense?0

The Lapierre was fine apart from the standover, yes. I'm not sure how much of a concern that aspect should be - it just doesn't feel right spending that much money on something that doesn't feel perfect!0

I would be more concerned about reach than standover height.0
