Started off today and it just got worse and worse. When I got MTB-ing I sometimes get migraines. Anyone else suffer like this?

Nope. I just nearly die from the ridiculously cold air when I'm breathing heavily.

I have no idea what's going on here.0 -
does your helmet fit properly? or are you getting enough fluids while out?0

Think so, I bailed out at 10 miles, so hadn't gone far. Helmet doesn't feel tight when its on0

To be fair mate you need to go the doctors, not ask for medical advice on a cycling forum. It could be anything at all. Have you had a recent eye test?0

I had a similar problem in the summer getting bad headaches when I had sunglasses on top of my head, and finally twigged what it was causing splitting headaches. They where touching pressure points on the side of my head so maybe check your helmet isnt doing the same. Maybe if they stop soon as you take the helmet off that would show its that?0

No it's at the very front, will try to see gp at some point0

What are you taking out with you to drink? If it's just plain water consider getting some hydration tablets like the SIS Go ones, had a very similar problem to you and these did the trick.0

Try taking on more fluids, otherwise go see your doctor.0

Could be tensioning your body, particularly your neck. I often see commuters with very stiff postures and wonder how they can ride a few miles like that. If I walk on the hills I get headaches if I don't wear sunglasses in bright light (a cap doesn't help). It took me years to realise that one - I originally thought it was because of lack of fluids.CAAD9

Some good advice about hydration. I use NUUN tablets on every ride in a 50/50 solution of water and orange juice.
One other thing to consider. Are the headaches more noticeable in this cold weather?
If so, you might want to try wearing a skull cap to start off on a ride - especially if you are follicly challenged like me . I used to suffer with headcahes, particulalry in the cold, but I use a Seal Skinz cap when it is really chilly and it makes a difference. You can always take it off when you warm up as well.
Hope this helps.
