I've got a few points on my frame that are being rubbed by cables, overshoes etc... Does anyone know of any good adhesive patch type material that I would be able to use to protect it?

You can get helicopter tape off ebay - clear, slightly stretchy, sticks well and is pretty much invisible when in place. Not used it on my carbon bike but have it in various places on my alu commuter and its been a "fit and forget" job.0

Are you trying to cut down on carbon?
You know all this environmental rubbish is just that don't you? They are talking about Carbon Dioxide as well... I dunno some people don't half get taken in by this stuff....Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

I've got a roll of clear tape (looks green on the roll but comes out clear) that I got from Robert Dyas. Sticks really well, even on my cross bike, and is great for things like this.Pannier, 120rpm.0
