  • Thought it was joke at first but looks OK I guess though not sure I'd want the one with the clear cover.
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.
  • Yeah, it's interesting. Claims to he lighter and stronger. Will we all be riding them in a few years?
  • If they price them right they'll sell. i.e. price them at cost to make + a sensible markup. If they price them based on organic hippy pseudo-science, they'll bomb. The signs aren't good - "dual layer wood-cellulose fibre honeycomb board" indeed.

    As for the longevity, wasn't the trabby made out of similar stuff?

    Users shouldn’t worry about a little water hurting it either, despite the fact that rain can turn the sturdiest box into a pile of soggy paper.

    The helmet can stand up to the elements, as it has been treated to be sweat- and rain-proof.

    Not utterly convinced with that, but there you go, they have thought about it a bit.
