Swapping wheels over

I want to swap the wheels around on two of my bikes (Orange 5 and Minxy) but have a few questions first!
Firstly, I have (white) Flows on the Minxy and the front is a 20mm bolt-through fit. I seem to have lost the converter thing that came with the wheels, but the (black) Flow on the front of the Orange is a QR. Can I just swap over the 20mm / QR middle bits of the hubs? That way the white Flows will fit on the 5 and the black Flow front wheel will fit on the Minxy
Which brings me to my next question - will a Mavic XM719 rim (currently on the back of the Orange, this will swap onto the Minxy) take a Maxxis 2.5 tyre? Although the Minxy is my more downhilly bike, I am hardly a fast / heavy rider so I am sure the wheel itself is man enough for the job!
Basically I want my white wheels on the 5 because they'll look nicer :oops:

What hubs are used on the wheels? If they're the same hubs then the answer is yes, otherwise (very probably) no.
XM719, 2.5 tyre, 99% sure it'll be fine.0 -
Yep, both Hope Pro II hubs. I'm not very imaginative with my choice of spec for my bikes.... :oops:
Good news about the tyre too, i'll give it a go and see what happens.
