I've used the fenwicks degreaser which seems to do the trick nicely. I've never tried any of there other stuff though, but I would definitely give it a try

in my opinion hope shit shifter is much much better,fen wicks is just not as good,doesn't seem to get the crap off as easy

I diluted it, took the chain and cassette apart and submerged it for 5 mins. All the crap just wiped away without any effort and made it look like new. I only bought a couple of sachets to try but would buy the large bottles next time

I use it neat to clean my chain. Use it diluted 10:1 to clean bike. Brilliant!

+1 - I bought a gallon for about £35. I'm less than halfway through it and have had it 2 years.

I prefer it to muck off, I used it on my mtb and for general purposes like my car alloys and removing bugs. I personally don't use it on my road bike, but it is definitely does what it says on the tin.
