I'd heartily recommend Atlantic Boulevard for the quality of Neil's finishing - regretfully, your bank balance won't. There's also Colourtech in Dartford.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • I'll give neil a call on monday. Iam just after one colour with no decals applying as i can do those myself. Maybe it will be cheaper if i do most of the sanding

I'll give colourtech a look too

    cheers

I've used Colourtech who renovated my old steel bikes, I know they do Carbon as well, good quality and at a reasonable price.

    COLOURTECH UK LTD
    Phone: 01322 555549
    Old Farm Buildings
    Maiden Lane
    Dartford
    Kent

    Another would be:

    Vaz Finishes,
    Elthruda Road, SE13 6SW
    Telephone: 020 8852 0711

    Paul.
  • Was quoted £300 plus £45 pick up and return from Atlantic Boulevard earlier for just one colour on frame and forks which is slightly high to say the least

I bet they do a great job but someone has to be cheaper than that!

Rubbing the frame down yourself will probably save some money - it needs to be done by hand so just needs some wet'n'dry and elbow grease
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • I asked if it would be cheaper if i sanded it but the guy on the phone said i could damage it

Guess i'll have to try more places

    the frame is laquered atm?

if so surely it just needs scuffed and painted. you shouldnt go near the raw carbon.
  • Its painted and lacquered yeah so i guess its a case of taking it down just to the point where the edges of the lettering etc will not show through the new paint?
