Hi all ... new here.....
I am about to add a new MTB to the fleet after signing up for Cyclescheme £1000 deal
What is the best bike out there at the moment.
I have been looking at Giant (match the other bikes I have) but the Talon 1 29er seems to be less than recommended due to fork problems.
There is a Cube LTD Pro 29er which would appear to be a good option but I dont know if the spec is any good compared with others.
What does anyone recommend - is there a better alternative available through mainstream dealers ?
Thanks in advance for any help
Mark

The cube is http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/cube-ltd-pro-29-mountain-bike-grey-blue-id73243.html?gclid=CJ-uorTvm7QCFeGDQgodIn8AvQ
The Giant Talon is http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/giant-talon-29er-1-mountain-bike-id73932.html?gclid=COKY5eLvm7QCFcaDQgodUhcAvQ
I know the Giant has poor forks as many reviewers have criticised it but I am no expert and need guidance on whether the Cube is any better

I would be looking at http://www.paulscycles.co.uk, even with the additional 11% on sale bikes for cyclescheme. They have some real bargains;

I just got one of these a couple of weeks ago and am very impressed o far

Cannot recommend the Saracen Mantra Expert 2013 enough. It's about £900. It flys uphill, has 120 travel and a slacker than most hardtail head tube angle so is very confidence inspiring on the declines. It's a bike that you'll outgrow slower than a more XC orientated hardtail. In my opinion anyway, I really don't see why pretty much every CUBE hardtail is a steep XC one! No need for it, most of us like going downhill!0
