So that i'm not forever fetching tyre levers out of my pocket pack, i want to buy a separate set to live in my toolbox. What's best when portability is a non-issue?
Thanks ft

  • I personally like the cyclepro heavy duty metal ones. They can scratch rims if you're not careful but they are very strong and very thin which helps prevent scratching.

They also have a handy hanging hole.

I use Park Tool TL-1s both at home and on the bike. They are cheap so I've got a few sets.

I also use a Crank Bros. Speed Lever for the times an extra hand would be useful.
    Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
    Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
    Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX

Speedlever for me, home and away :P

Had mine for 3 years now and it's still in perfect condition. I used to snap off the hooks on ordinary levers every time I changed a tyre (yeah OK my fault probably!)

ps. Asprilla hello from OCUK :)
