Morning Losers!

Last night was my works Christmas do. Was a good laugh, and I only bought one drink, which is a win. I seem to have gotten away with any feelings of death too, which is a bonus.

I seem to have a small lump next to my ear, just about where my jaw meets. I think I've hit it, possibly at Judo, as it's like a small swelling which I can feel, but you can't see. I'm hoping it's nothing serious, as I'm off down to Essex tomorrow, and it would be just my luck that I have to cancel that. Sod it, I'll go even if I'm in agony. They have hospitals in Essex don't they?

Anywho, last day of work for me this week, so I'd better get cracking and get on with it. Except we've only a little milk, so it's only tea this morning, no breakfast to be had! Will have to get some bacons, oh well!

Laters!

    Morning wasters.
TKM we do have Hospitals, but best stick to the ones further north of the county as the ones closer to london are prety much dangerous.
Got a meeting this morning with a head of a multinational company, so i have had a shave! Wuuuuh
I will be purchasing some more "proper" coffee on the way back to the office as this instant crap is just not cutting it.

booked to get my reprograming finished with Jedi, so i can finally tick off those gap jumps.

    Anywhooo onwards to proper coffee!!!

  • Heads up Maggots!

A day of waste at work for me, nothing is happening so I may just resort to watching episodes of "Breaking Bad" on my portable fruit company branded system..
I am here for another week, as in until the 22nd. The telesales and other departments have closed until the 2nd, so it's like a ghost town here...
It's bucketing with rain plus one of the guys in my office has brought his son to work, he's a youngster and we have to watch our language and conversation content.. Meh!

I may just survive the day...

    Mornin' emo's

Work provide lunch today - and that's pretty much the highlight. Aside from that, I'm in my bunker doing horrific things to metal in the name of 'Science!' (the exclamation mark is important). I shall take a jumper - yesterday the workshop was colder than an icebergs testicle and I can't see today being any warmer.

Onwards! To coffee (hot)! And the secret lair, Igor!
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

I'll be in Witham, near Braintree if that means anything. I imagine I'll be fine, I've taken some Ibuprofen, what can possibly go wrong!?

Just don't say Witham is close to Braintree when you're there, it's worse than touching their ears.

    Morning Mongs!

Out for a decent ride on the road bike last night roads were deserted, perhaps people had decided to stay in the warm?

Meetings all day today followed by another ride out on the 456.

    Woo!

Really? But they're like 3 miles or so from each other? Essex people are weird.

    Morning bumders

In pain this morning, my eye is killing me, don't think I've got anything in it which means there's probably not a lot I can do other than wash it out and leave it alone. Unofortunately I'm not the kind of person to leave stuff alone.

Today I was supposed to be going into uni but decided to try and sleep in instead as I've been up half the night. Worked out this term I've only actually managed to completely miss 10 lectures, so a weeks worth. Half of those were but horses anyway, so that's not bad going I don't think especially when I've been fairly ill and been having to head back home to visit them doctor people.

Housemate xmas dinner today, followed by The Hobbit later, then packing the car ready to go home tomorrow.

Well, I survived the trip to Milton Keynes. The interview went well, I think, but you never know do you. There's a tiny part of me that actually hopes someone else gets it so I don't have to make any decisions about leaving here - I realised last night that it's been a tumultuous year, and I'd like to have a few months to just settle before having to do anything crazy like moving jobs and cities etc. Ah well, we'll see.

In other news I've just been told we have a team meeting on Friday, which coincides with a bunch of other people having team meetings. We recently also had 'resilience' training. Call me paranoid but that training mentioned redundancy *a lot*. Maybe the decision will be made for me?

Today I have a lot of work to do, and a 2 hour lunch with the notoriously party-loving accounting and finance lecturers.. mustn't let them persuade me to drink too much...

Getting a wee bit hacked off with all this work I have to do. I didn't take two weeks off to come back to all this sh1t. I'm also hungry and there is no food to be had until lunchtime. Cake making minion has not provided any offerings for quite a while now. This will have to be addressed at her annualy performance review.

Tea has been had so it'll just be long wait until lunchtime.

    Later......

If you are bringing the stead, Danbury is not far, decent riding there.
Witham is strange anyway, but dont say anything like that when your there as they're all related, just like in braintree, but Braintree is bigger. it has two seperate families.

    Morning cc's & bcc's...

Today is the start of winding down for christmas at work (well I am anyway)...

I have 2 nights of drunkeness to attend over the weekend, so I need to pace myself friday so I don't peak too soon and therefore not perform saturday.

Friday involves curry, so i'm hoping that will help absorb alcohol and reduce the hangover, saturday will be carnage, out to see my mates band, then no doubt ending up in Chicagos until the wee hours... nice.

Tonight is relaxing in preparation for the above.
A berm? were you expecting one?

I thought I'd seen you posting over in the Communter forum - it's all starting to make sense now.

    Afternoon Wasters,

Enjoying my last few days of laziness before starting the new job next week, so went swimming as I couldn't be ar$ed to get wrapped up and play keep the bike upright on the country lanes near here. At least next week I will have several minions to boss around and I may even get a Christmas party thrown in :)

Luckily the people I'm visiting originate from Kent and Sussex, so they're ok. And they haven't bred yet, so i don't have to worry about mutant babies chewing my ankle.

I thought the only outcasts near that area are the Tollesbury lot, but that's only because their genetic deformities were too much for even Witham.
