what wheel set would i ues for 29er

hi I need a bit of advice on what wheel set would i need for my specialised Camber comp 29er? in regards to doing a bit of racing in 2013, in general i,m looking to lighten this bike with carbon handle bars, seat stems etc.
I weight 73kg if this will help on wheel choice, am relatively new to mtbr scene so any advice and links to products would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I'd do is weigh the parts you have. Also what is your budget?

Like supersonic said, weigh the bits you have and see where you can go from there. And also decide on your budget. Some alloy wheels are lighter than the best carbon wheels. There just not as stiff. Personally if I could have any wheels, i'd get me a pair of ENVE 29 XC's.
