In Shanghai for my sins - which I was unable to fulfill any of last night on Nanjing Road. I used to think Lagos was challenging 'til I met central Shanghai! Decided against compression by the Green Line and took a taxi to the office and got moaned at by the driver for taking potographs out of the window.

So I disembowelled him and burnt his cab. Well didn't give him a tip which was every bit as satisfactory.

Off to Peking.

  • Morning Losers!

Figured I'd start a real Morning thread as the Time-Zone thing looks like Spam.

So today is 12/12/12 and this means we're going to die. Some of you I will miss, some of you not so much, others smell and can burn for all I care.

So I was at work until 9pm last night, which wasn't fun, I just hope I got everything finished in time, and that my mind wasn't wandering too much that I farked up a load of computers. We shall soon see...

Elbows are both hurting like a beeatch, not good.

    Mornin' homos and sapiens

Today I will be pushing the boundaries of engine tech to breaking point. Then quite possibley a littl beyond. Maybe too far. There will be tortured metal; there may, depending on how things go, even be fire. All I know is it's cost some people a metric f**kton of money to get a certain project this far. Then they hand it to me and my little battalion of mecha.

    heh. heh heh. heh.

In other news. Good luck today, FoxC.

    Onwards! To coffee! And FIRE*!!

    *all things being equal, anyhoo

So today is interview day, but I don't need to set off till lunchtime. This morning I will be distracting myself by putting up the Christmas tree, waxing a snowboard and making a stew.
Then it'll be time to suit up and hit the M1. Might go snowboarding after the interview..

Best of luck Foxc, the whole Crudcatcher is behind you.......figuratively speaking

    Morning Scuttlers

I'm off to put the C*nt back in the Black C*ntry today as I head off to the midlands on an all day drinkies sesh followed by an overnight stay in a travelodge (shudders) and breakfast buffet.

Think I may have to put a base layer of breakfasts down though, you know just to give me that bit of staying power.

Anyway, day 8 of Crudmas is upon us so off I pop to do my daily duties

Morning bumders & good luck FoxC

Had an amazing night at the O2 watching Mumford & Sons, managed to get nice and close to the front and it was a great show, bumped into a few mates too so had a decent catch up afterwards.

Anyway, on with today, I've literally just checked my timetable and realised I'm not in until 10, which is annoying as I've woken up in a panic and had a rushed shower to get ready to be in for 9.

This lecture nonsense will be followed by a hockey match, should be interesting. It's the first time we've played since one of the defenders got a bit too angry, he didn't like the idea of the keeper telling him what to do... The mong started giving me a mouthful and prodding me with his stick. Then he moved onto the personal insults and ended saying that he'd deck me  The last straw was when he started saying how shit my goalkeeping was and that we were losing because I'd let a goal in...

Without sounding like a twat I'm a bloody good goalkeeper but there's a limit to what you can do so I squared up to him and he backed down. He tried again after the match but again he pussied off just calling me a cunt. Hopefully he's over his issues by now. It's hard to not rise to it, particularly in a match as there's slightly angry focused mindset you need to be in so as not to flinch or wimp out when people are whacking balls at you. I 've seen 3 keepers KO'd during matches in the past year alone. Combined with the fact I'm kind of a generally angry person I'd say it was a bloody miracle I didn't hit the fucker and I guess I'll just see how today goes.

    So today is interview day,

Good luck with that one Foxc.

Finally over my jetlag and was able to sleep until 6 this morning. It feels so much better than getting up at 2. Another freezing cold day here but it is one closer to the weekend which is planned for lots of time in bars / pubs / kebab shops.

I have a couple of meetings today but not much else so I'll spend time catching up on two weeks worth of paperwork afterwards.

Time for a quick cuppa before my 10 o'clock meeting.

    Later......

Is it the 21st? Ah well, I live to fight on. Indeed, it is national sound technicians day. Though I always end up sounding like a man with a thick Indian accent when saying 1,2. I usually just try insulting the person at the desk, they get the job done quicker then :D

    Morning Mongs!

What's all this rubbish about the world ending? I still haven't had any coffee or bacon today so I'm sorry it's just not going to happen.

Hovering over buying a ghost FS bike in the annual bike number n+1/divorce quandry. Given the past few days I think the bike may win.

    Onwards to oblivion!

I am going mad, I'm sure I posted on here this morning...

Anyhows, had to spend most of the morning in while the plumber fixed our broken khazi (luckily we've got 2 otherwise we'd be quite literally in deep shyte :) ). I amused myself by drinking tea and writing Christmas cards (yawn) even though it seems a bit pointless as I never read the ones that people send me.

The prospect of going back to work next Monday is really starting to dawn on me now, the lazy barsteward part of me is starting to worry!

Foxc, let us know how you get on.
