Dream Bikes

Hi All,
I recently ran into some money and am thinking about blowing some of it on my dream mountain bike. It's still in the planning stage right know, and I still don't know if I want to spend as much as it would take to outdo my current Tallboy :? . I wanted some opinions on my selected build list first though, before I start thinking of dropping some cash. I'm going for the "exotic" but still usable area. I have the view that it's better to have one "Do it all" bike than multiple niche bikes. I'd be aiming for around 24 lbs with this build (the same as my current Tallboy).
Don't recommend anything completely off this planet like Clavicula cranks or anything like that because I still want it to be able to withstand some abuse from a 175 lb rider. Also, feel free to add your own dream builds as it may give me some inspiration .

Fibrelite carbon chainrings - nic bling and much tougher and lighter than alluminium....
Thomson stems are heavy, much lighter and just as strong are available, Easton EA90 perhaps and I'd match to EC90 bars.
Not what I would build personally, but most of that ticks most of my boxes.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Just as a side point have you had a look in this months What Mountain Bike? They are doing a group test on expensive full sus bikes (probably not what they call the test!), might be worth taking a look at! Most of them were £6000+. Obviously if you want to build custom then not really helpful but might give you some ideas!0

After seeing that Daemon Works custom bike thread I'm not sure what I'd do if I got given a big wad of cash. I'd be really tempted to do the real custom bike thing ie get a frame builder to make something for me. Put on some one-off features or aesthetic touches etc ... But then again it'll be so original and personal I'd be afraid to ride it and get it muddy, which would make it a waste of a mountain bike.0
