Terrible night's sleep. Struggled to doze off, and woke up at about 5:30 and couldn't get back to the land of nod

I seem to have hurt my elbow last night at judo. Not sure how, it doesn't look bruised or anything, and I don't remember hurting it. I only noticed it on the drive home. Ah well, bit of heat rub then.

It is a terrible tuesday, central heating and hot water still farked......one replacement heater has burned out.....sttruggling to find a simple bolt for Amy and my phone has broken, after checking at the o2 store, turns out it no longer thinks its a phone, this means I'm having to use an age old brick.

At least someone is coming to look at installing a new boiler today, hopefully have hot water and heat by the end of the week, which being as I'm off up to Wolves for a day or two aint so bad.

Yes, terrible Tuesday. The other half has got a cob on because I didn't respond when she stood and ranted at me for 10 minutes last night. The reason for the rant was that I didn't get off the sofa 3 seconds after she wanted me to go up stairs and have words with child 2, which in turn means I never help and never do anything around the house. I also made it worse this morning by failing to argue with her about the rant.

I am totally confused.

Set off from my house this morning, got to the end of the street and had to turn back and swap bikes. The skinny tyred hopper wouldn't stay shiny side up, so went back and swapped for the bionicobvious. Did a better job but it was still a bit dicey.
After having the last 3 months on a road(ish) bike, it felt wierd being back on a bouncy bike.

Woke up way too early this morning at 2 am. Jet lag is still to wear off but I'm hoping to get better sleep tonight.

Freezing cold morning with the car iced up on the inside as well. Took aged to clear the windscreen.

Afternoon Reprobates,

I've spent the last few hours in a cafe supping caffeine based drinks and eating bacon while waiting for the car to get serviced and sorted. Turns out they were waiting on a spare bulb which caused the 2 hour delay :roll:

Wallet now a bit lighter, I'm off into the West End to buy a few pressies and then out for a beer with a mate around office kicking out time. Got to make the most of this week before I have to start doing wierd things like wearing a suit and going to work :shock:

In the past two weeks I've booked a ski holiday with around 19 work colleagues in Borovets, Bulgaria which in a latest mag said the high points for this resort are - cheap beer and strippers ... Perfect :twisted:

I'm trying to change jobs to something even better paid

we've got a rig move around the 21st of this month and I'm due back 24th so the weather will surely dictate that this will not happen. So hopefully get my next trip off with full pay while they wait for a weather window.
