Hi, anyone know if the Dartmoor Hubs are any good for All Mountain riding?
Was going to order Hope´s locally but they are unavailable in red since God know´s when and my LBS suggested these instead...
These would used with my EX500 rims with DB Sapin spokes and Red Alloy Nipples.
Cheers!

Dartmoor is Eastern European company that resells the stuff from far east. Can be hit and miss in terms of quality. Their hubs used to be re branded novatec hubs. Not many good reviews.0

Ouch...
So, i would be better off going with Superstars?0 -
If they're rebadged Novatecs then they're probably the same as Superstar hubs.0

Got several sets of Superstar wheels, only issues have been bearing life, just replace with reasonable quality ones when you need to and everything is good, freehubs have been fine.0

Got the upgrade finished!
Superstars Switch Evo 20mm front and 12mm rear in Red
Sapim Laser Spokes and Red Nipples with my EX500 Rims(also upgraded the cassete to a 11-32 9sp XT)
Question tho: isn´t the Switch supposed to be pretty noisy like the lighter XC Superstars hubs? My red one is very quiet unlike my mate´s gold one(superlegera model or something)0 -

IMO I also would've stayed away from alloy nipples, they have a tendency to get rounded.0
